According to report Arsenal are keen to bring Eintracht Frankfurt striker Andre Silva to the Emirates Stadium in course of this season's transfer window.
Andre Silva enjoyed an impressive 2020-21 season for his Bundesliga side, netted 29 goals and registered 10 assists in 34 outings in all competitions.
Journalist Duncan Castles reported Arsenal have already made it known to the The 25-year-old that they want to sign him ahead of next summer.
However, the Arsenal will allegedly have to move Alexandre Lacazette on in order to finish a deal for Silva
"Frankfurt are asking for £34.35m for the player. There is an expectation that that won't be achieved, and that they will be forced to sell him for less money," Castles told the Transfer Window Podcast.
"RB Leipzig certainly don't want to pay that. Arsenal have expressed their interest and have done a lot of propriety work on this deal.
"They have told Andre Silva that they need to sell before they can bring him in. But they want to do that deal. And the player they have targeted to sell is Alexandre Lacazette."
Andre Silva has two years remain to play on his current contract with Frankfurt
