Cristiano Ronaldo equals international goalscoring record in France draw


Juventus stricker Cristiano Ronaldo levelled Ali Daei's record of 109 international goals with his brace in Wednesday's night Euro 2020 encounter with France.

The Portugal hitman has made his impression felt at this season's tournament, and he scored a penalties against France on their final clash as the two sides advanced to the next stage following a 2-2 draw.

However, Ronaldo tally international goal number 109 on Wednesday night, equal the record set by one-time Iran attacker Daei, whose international career came to an end in 2006.

Ronaldo also stamp-down Miroslav Klose as the participant with the most goals at the Euros and World Cup totalled (20) and he also broke Michel Platini's European Championship goalscoring record on their win against Hungary in the beginning of the tournament.

The former Real Madrid and Manchester United stricker future persist in to be called into question, even though, the Old Lady have believed sighed a seven-man shortlist of potential replacements should the five-time Ballon d'Or leave Juventus this season.
