Real Madrid and Manchester City are reportedly involved in a two-horse race for Erling Braut Haaland.
The 21-year-old is believed to have a £62m release clause in his contract with Borussia Dortmund, which will become active at the end of the season.
Real Madrid and Man City are expected to be among the teams vying for Haaland's signature, with Barcelona, Manchester United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich also linked with the striker.
According to The Athletic, Real Madrid and Man City are now two realistic contenders for Haaland's signing, although PSG have the financial strength to finalize a deal.
However, the report adds that Haaland is not moving to Ligue 1 and City may have the upper hand in the race as Real are also eyeing a deal for Killian Mbape from PSG.
Haaland has scored 23 goals and 6 assists in 20 games across all Dortmund tournaments this season, his contract with Black and Yellow expires in 2024.
