Around 10 countries are reportedly interested in buying Chelsea from current owner Roman Abramovich.
The Russian oligarch announced last week that he wants to sell Chelsea amid fears of sanctions after attacking Ukraine.
Abramovich has reportedly put a £3bn price tag on Chelsea, with the 55-year-old insisting the club's new owners must follow the same passion when it comes to investing in the team and developing the stadium.
A total of 10 potential candidates are currently considering bids, with most of the interest coming from the United States, according to Sky Sports News, but there are several complicating factors.
The report adds that Russia's invasion of Ukraine could deter billionaires from doing business with Abramovich, although he cannot be sanctioned by the British government until an established relationship with President Vladimir Putin is proven.
