Checkout How Chelsea Would Lineup For Next Season If They Buy 6 Target Players This Summer Transfer Window

As is common knowledge, the summer transfer window is still open, and numerous clubs in Europe are interested in signing certain players before it closes. Chelsea is one of the teams, though, that is looking to sign some quality players.

Chelsea is now the only one of the “top 6” EPL clubs that hasn’t signed a player this summer. However, the club has a large list of players it wants to transfer in the summer.

Following Cristiano Ronaldo’s announcement that he would leave Manchester United if the team received a good offer this summer, Chelsea began pursuing the player.

Todd Boehly, the club’s new owner, is reportedly interested in signing the Portuguese, according to Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes.

This indicates that Chelsea has a propensity to sign Ronaldo before the summer transfer window closes.

However, Raheem Sterling is another forward player that Chelsea is interested in signing in addition to Ronaldo. The reason for this is because Romelu Lukaku, who recently left the club this summer, needs to be replaced.

According to recent transfer rumours, Raheem Sterling’s transfer to Chelsea is almost complete, thus there is a strong likelihood that the Manchester City striker will switch Premier League teams this summer.

Chelsea is also interested in adding four more players, including two defenders, in addition to Ronaldo and Sterling.

Remember that Chelsea’s three main defenders, Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, and Andreas Christensen, all left the club this summer. As a result, Chelsea needs to sign new defenders to fill their shoes.

Jules Kounde and Matthijs De Ligt will play defence for Chelsea this summer, and the club is allegedly interested in both of them.

Chelsea is allegedly interested in signing Frenkie De Jong from Barcelona amid all the summer deals. Remember that Manchester United has plans to sign the player as well, but the transaction has not yet been finalized.

Raphinha, the final player, has been a target for Chelsea since the summer transfer window opened. The prospects of Barcelona signing the Brazilian striker are limited, despite reports to the contrary.

Chelsea will therefore become stronger and the starting lineup for the games of the upcoming season will change if they add three forward players, two defenders, and one midfielder.

Therefore, if they add six (6) players this summer, we will see the team’s strongest lineup for the 2022–2023 football season.

• The team’s primary goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy, will play in that position. However, Kepa Arrizabalaga will back him.

• Ben Chilwell, Reece James, Jules Kounde, and Matthijs De Ligt will play defence.

• Mason Mount, N’golo Kante, and Frenkie De Jong will form the midfield.

• Finally, Raheem Sterling, Raphinha, and Cristiano Ronaldo will make up the front lineup.

Chelsea’s attack will be significantly stronger and more aggressive with this group. But it’s still unclear whether Thomas Tuchel will be able to close the six transactions.
