Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has passed on government’s opinions about issues that have resulted in Ejura in the Ashanti Region regarding the suspected murder of a social activist Mohammed Kaaka.
The Information Minister key out the action as a crime and encouraged the police to carry on a fast probe into the murder
The Ofoase Ayirebi lawmaker also called for a rigorous investigation within the crowd control protocol hired at the scene of the riot in Ejura on June 29 to fine out main cause of the events of the day that leave two deaths and some injuries.
He said “Our security agencies should be quick and clinical in getting to the bottom of the of this and other unresolved crimes .
“While we understand that Police investigations sometimes take a while it doesn’t not instill confidence in the population if such acts go unresolved and unpunished quickly. So the Police need to get to the bottom of this and justice must be done.”
