According to report Pep Guardiola's side Manchester City could turn their interest to Griezmann if they are priced out of a move for England international Harry Kane.
City are supposedly leading the race for Spurs attacker Kane but will not hesitate to walk away if Tottenham president Daniel Levy keep to play hardball over a fee.
The Citizens chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak has confirmed that the club will substitute the recently-departed Argentina International Sergio Aguero.
However, Fichajes reported that the Citizens manager Pep Guardiola would welcome Barcelona's attacker Griezmann to the Etihad with open arms, as Pep views the Franchman as a perfect fit for his 4-3-3 false nine setup.
Barcelona will believed have to cut £171m from their salary bill if Lionel Messi signs new contract with the club, and the report further adds that the French international would be open to move from La Blaugrana.
Griezmann who has also been strongly linked with Juventus scored 20 goals and registered 12 assists in all competitions. but he currently remains focused on France's Euro 2020 exploits.
