Roma are monitor on Eric Bailly's situation at Old Trafford and could make a move for the defender on this summer's transfer window.

Bailly only signed a new deal with United in April, but there remains surmise surrounding his hereafter, with a new report stating that he was open for sale this season.

The 27-year-old is already behind Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof in the pecking order at Manchester United and would likely go down to fourth spot if the Red Devils signed another defender fellowing of next summer.

However, Il Tempo claims that newly appointed Roma boss Jose Mourinho has identified Bailly as a potential targer on this season's transfer window. 

The report claims that the two individuals share a strong relationship following their time together at Man United, and a deal could potentially oc cur in the coming weeks.
