Ghana Police arrested three suspects over murder of a lady who went seeking spiritual help in Sefwi Bekwai
Police have arrested three people in connection with the murder of 27-year-old Martha Tete in Sefwi Bekwai Atum in the northwestern region.
On Monday, June 27, the lady travelled to consult a spiritualist, but her decapitated body was later found abandoned in an unfinished building in Sefwi Bekwai.
The police immediately launched an investigation into the murder and arrested a man who introduced the woman named Solomon Sam, and the spiritist Osofo Attah
“During the interrogation process, suspect Osofo Attah admitted to being involved in the crime and mentioned suspect John Nana Addai, alias Akwasi Kokoreh as the one who contracted suspect Solomon Sam to lure the victim to Sefwi Bekwai to consult the spiritualist,” the police said in a statement on Friday, July 22.
“We would like to assure the public of a thorough investigation into the case to bring al perpetrators to face justice,” the statement signed by Chief Superintendent Grace Ansah-Akrofi, the Director of Public Affairs, said.
