Chelsea reportedly agreed to sign RB Leipzig striker Christopher Nkunku for a fee of €60m (£51.8m).
The 25-year-old has been on the radar of some of Europe's top clubs over the summer after scoring 34 goals and 20 assists in 52 games for Red Bulls in the 2021/22 season.
However, it was reported in late September that the France international had completed a medical at Chelsea before moving to Stamford Bridge in 2023.
A €60m (£51.8m) deal has now been agreed, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, and Nkunku's move to west London is fast approaching.
Romano added that the former PSG star had signed a 'long-term' contract with Chelsea and the transfer would be made official at the end of this season.
