Wanted! Police on the search for Christopher Darnell Jones Jr, a suspect in Sunday night's Charlottesville shooting

As of Monday morning, an active search around the University of Virginia campus for Christopher Darnell Jones Jr., a UVA student and former football player named a suspect in Sunday night's Charlottesville campus shooting, in which three people died and two were injured.

Jones, now seen as armed and dangerous, was a former UVA soccer player. According to the school's athletic department website, he was on the soccer team in 2018 but never played the game.

Police described Jones as a black man, last seen wearing a burgundy jacket or hoodie, blue jeans and red shoes. He's probably driving a black SUV marked Virginia TWX3580.
